1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on NSKA Hub (hub.nska.com.au), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the NSKA Waiver below. If you do not agree, please do not create an account.
2. Use of the Platform
NSKA Hub is provided exclusively for the management of NSKA-sanctioned martial arts tournaments. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes related to event registration, competition management, and club administration.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Personal Information
We collect personal information (name, date of birth, contact details, and health-related emergency contact information) as necessary to administer tournaments safely. Your data is stored securely and is not sold to third parties. By registering, you consent to NSKA using your data for tournament administration, results publication, and season standings.
5. Entry Fees and Refunds
Entry fees are processed via Stripe. Refunds are subject to the NSKA Refund Policy: cancellations more than 7 days prior to an event with a medical certificate receive a full refund; other cancellations more than 7 days out may receive a refund less a $20 administrative fee at NSKA's discretion; cancellations within 6 days of an event with a medical certificate receive a full refund; change-of-mind cancellations within 6 days receive no refund. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
6. Photography and Media
Tournament events may be photographed or filmed. By creating an account and entering events, you grant National Sport Karate Australia Ltd (NSKA) permission to use your likeness in photographs, video, or other digital media in any of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. All photos become the property of NSKA. You irrevocably authorise NSKA to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose, and waive any right to inspect the finished product or claim royalties or other compensation.
7. Conduct and Rules
All competitors, coaches, officials, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with NSKA's Code of Behaviour, Spectator Behaviour Policy, Social Media Policy, Communications Policy, Disability and Inclusion Policy, Illegal Drugs Policy, and Guidelines for Interacting with Children, as published in the NSKA Rulebook 2026. NSKA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for conduct that is deemed harmful, inappropriate, or contrary to the values of the organisation. 8. Assumption of Risk and Waiver
I hereby release National Sport Karate Australia Ltd (NSKA), its Board of Directors, tournament promoters, judges, referees, officials, sponsors, government sports agencies, and all persons connected with any tournament from any liability in connection with the tournament and/or any injuries which could be sustained through participation.
I understand that martial arts is a dangerous activity and could lead to injury or death. I understand that I need to be adequately prepared for the events I enter and that I must understand the rules and regulations of competing in NSKA-sanctioned tournaments.
I fully understand that if any medical treatment is given to me during an event, such treatment will be of a first aid nature only, and I fully waive any and all claims for injuries and damages arising from such treatment, whether given with or without my express consent.
I confirm that I am of legal age to accept these terms. If I am not of legal age, I am acting with the full permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on my behalf. I accept full responsibility for any omissions or false information provided.
9. Limitation of Liability
NSKA Hub is provided "as is". While we strive for reliability, we make no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. NSKA is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
NSKA reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
